How to Care for Pets

ペットの飼い方

Animals are man’s best friend. Extending love and communication to animals is a wonderful thing, but caring for animals in human society is actually quite demanding. We must gain sufficient understanding of the animals’ instincts and traits to enable them to live alongside humans and train animals by disciplining them to a certain extent. Animals are faithful to their owners but in some cases we must be careful of how they react to strangers.

Aisai does not currently offer financial assistance for neutering pets. We would like pet owners to have a strong awareness on this matter, and ask you to cherish your pet as a member of the family by training them not to disturb others while treating them with a lifetime of love and responsibility.

Important Points about Dogs

Do not disturb others

Not everyone likes dogs.

Please ensure that your dog does not cause noises or foul odors that disturb others, and always keep the area around your dog clean.

When taking your dog for a walk, please ensure your dog is restrained on a strong leash (chain) and hold on firmly to the leash.

Do not let your dog run free

Please keep your dog on a strong leash and do not allow it to run free.

For big dogs or dogs that bite, precautions should be taken to prevent injuries by keeping the dog in a locked cage.

Do not abandon dogs

Abandoning dogs or other pets is punishable under animal protection and control laws. If you can no longer care for your pet, please find your pet a new home.

If you cannot find your pet a new home, please consult the Aichi Animal Protection Center (Tel. 0586-78-2595), Tsushima Health Center (Tel. 0567-26-4137), or the City Hall Environment Division.

Owners must clean up the dog’s waste

When taking your dog for a walk, please ensure to clean up your dog’s waste.
