New Registrations

New registrations must be submitted by the person in question. However, in the case of someone below the age of 16, a proxy submission may be made by a member of the same household who is 16 or older.

Please file within 90 days of moving to Japan.

Please file within 60 days of the child’s birth.

Documentation demonstrating proof of birth

Please file within 60 days of renouncing or losing your Japanese citizenship.
