Non-burnable Garbage

·Crockery (rice bowls; plates, dishes, etc.; ceramics such as flowerpots, etc.)

·Toys; radio-cassette players; rice cookers; belts, etc.

·Broken glass; broken bottles; light bulbs, etc.

·Used spray-cans, etc.; non-plastic cosmetics containers

Disposal Method and Important Notes

  • Please put your garbage in designated city bags exclusively for use with non-burnable garbage, writing your name and address on the bags before putting them outside.
  • Please do not dispose of cloth as non-burnable garbage.
  • Specific disposal method for spray-cans, tabletop gas canisters, etc.:

Remove any caps and make sure that the containers are completely empty; dispose of the caps and other plastics parts separately as plastic garbage.

Make a hole in spray-cans before disposing of them, but be careful to do this in a well-ventilated environment where there is no risk of fire.

  • Cutlery, needles, broken glass and other such dangerous garbage should be packaged in paper, and the contents of the package should be indicated as Cutlery, Needles, Glass and so on.

Be sure to write your name on any garbage bags and put them out by 8.00am at the latest.

*Items that contravene the city’s garbage rules will not be collected. Please be certain to adhere to the important points noted above and elsewhere.

*Where concerns over privacy become an issue, please shred or cut your garbage before putting it out.
